Book Buying Spree
My brother gave me a Waterstones voucher as part of a generous Christmas present, so after a couple of false starts I set off in the wind today to buy some books to read.
When I left this morning, I had intentions of perhaps buying the Italian cookery book that I'd bought my mum as a present, it's a damned good book...but when I got there I headed straight for the computing section...I browsed around, without very much catching my eye...except perhaps for "Professional Hibernate" but I remain to be convinced by Hibernate so I continued into the political section...
The shop assistant helpfully pointed out that the first two of my choices were in their 3 for 2 promotion so I picked up another couple of books...4 good (hopefully) books for £9.83...not bad :-)
- Whose Trade Organization?
- Granny Made Me An Anarchist
- The Dark Heart of Italy
- How Mumbo-jumbo Conquered the World: A Short History of Modern Delusions
I've got a bit of reading to do...

Hi, I'd like to know where I can meet other people who enjoy cookery, particularly cajun cooking. I've joined this site (cajun cooking) but where else can I meet other local devotees of cajun cooking?
